The North Carolina Association for Biomedical Research is pleased to bring you North Carolina's Bioscience Clearinghouse, a comprehensive resource for North Carolinians who want to better understand the dynamic world of bioscience research. We’ve just added four exciting new sections to the site, and in them you’ll be able to find extracurricular activities for both students and teachers as well as bioscience news from around the state, a glossary featuring hundreds of bioscience terms and a list of bioscience links.

Bioscience Careers :
Careers in Laboratory Animal Science videos
Short, exciting career videos for middle school and high school students and teachers that highlight the following careers — animal research facility manager, laboratory animal technician and laboratory animal veterinarian — now are available thanks to generous funding from the AALAS Foundation.
An accompanying teacher educational materials guide also is available as a PDF. The guide contains lesson plans, worksheets, handouts and take-home activities that relate to the videos and the corresponding career profiles on this site. |
