The North Carolina Association for Biomedical Research is pleased to bring you North Carolina's Bioscience Clearinghouse, a comprehensive resource for North Carolinians who want to better understand the dynamic world of bioscience research. We've developed career profiles, written issue briefs on important topics, and compiled bioscience news from around the state and a list of opportunities for K-12 teachers and students. The site also features a glossary of hundreds of bioscience terms and numerous links to other bioscience resources.

Biopharmaceutical career videos
NCABR has produced a series of short, exciting career videos for middle and high school students and teachers that highlight the following careers: quality assurance associate, quality control associate and validation specialist The free videos are available thanks to generous funding from the Biogen Idec Foundation.
An accompanying teacher educational materials guide also is available as a PDF. The guide contains lesson plans, worksheets, handouts and take-home activities that relate to the videos and the corresponding career profiles on this site. |
